Thank you everyone for all of your prayers and financial support to make El Salvador possible. If I haven't shared with you personally about the trip, ring me up and I'd love to tell you about it. God did some amazing things that were more than I ever imagined would happen.
Over the summer, I'll be gearing up for my next adventure: moving to Los Angeles to study electronic music production. I'll let you know how things go when I can.

Hey, Derik. It's been a while since last time I read your blog. You can't believe how crazy the censorship goes here. They've blocked almost all the popular blog sites plus youtube, twitter and facebook. I'd suggest the gov. block the internet so that we can go back the the 50s, being proud of communist and believing that the rest of the world is totally messed up! Now I'm using a proxy to bypass their stupid "blockade"
Anyways, I really like your writing. I feel like I've been inspired by your steadfastness in what you believe and how Jesus has changed your life.
