Well, don't get your hopes up; I never did end up seeing the torch. It was time for me to get to work at the language services office so I didn't stay long enough to see it come by. I could kick myself for not staying because when I arrived, no one else was there because traffic was out of order because of interruption due to the torch relay. Oh, well. I still relish the experience this morning. It was truly one of a kind to see all of the Qingdao locals cheering on China and the Olympics.
