Hula Hoops

This summer is going to be amazing. I can just feel it. The sun has started to come out more and the temperature is warm enough to wear short sleeves by mid afternoon. More and more people are starting to spend more time outside of their cars, houses, and offices. On days like today, Boulevard Park is bustling with joggers, runners, walkers, families, and frisbee throwing college students.

A couple of weeks ago, when the rain was still falling, my friend Brittany and I listed out all of the things that we wanted to do this summer:

chalk drawings
jumping rope
swimming
bike riding (with a banana seat bike)
running through sprinklers
driving with the windows down
drinking beer on the front porch
tanning
visiting lynden
watching the sun go down
lake padden
ferry rides
canoeing
kayaking
sailing
listening to music on old record players
star gazing
bonfires
bbqs
movies outside in downtown fairhaven
shows
4th of july in bremerton, wa
telling ghost stories
talking with funny accents
picnics
dancing
visiting vancouver, bc
whatcom falls
saturday breakfasts
hula hoops

That's just a couple of the things that we want to do. I have a feeling that this list is just the tip of the iceberg. We're going to have to keep adding to this list as we think of more things to do. Over the weekend, Brittany already hand-made her own hula hoop and my roommate, Fred made two today. I better get mine too.
