
Seoul is full of surprises! You would never guess where I am now. I am going to a concert! Yep. Inside the traditional Korean village that Franklin suggested I go there is a 700 seat theater where they have regular performances. For July and August they are having a special music series, "A Summer Tour in Korean Music." The music I will be hearing tonight will be the Korean gyeonggi sori and the seodo sori. According to the program, "Gyeonggi sori are the songs that were sung in the gyeonggi region, with Seoul as its center. Seodo sori were sung in hwang haedo and pyeongando, North Korea." The lights are dimming now...
